Instant Dye Shampoo

I will admit I was was skeptical when I purchased this product. I have gray hair primarily framing my face right where it's visible and it grows quickly thus requiring frequent trips to the salon, which can become very expensive. I have only used this product once, but I am completely blown away. It was extremely easy to apply. It took around 5 minutes. I was careful not to get any on my face or ears. Once I applied the product, I got in the shower and I ensured it stayed on for 25 minutes. I got the brown color. I have not had much luck with professionals as they either get the color wrong or the product is too harsh and is irritating, not to mention the outrageous amount of money they charge! This product, however was very mild and not irritating at all. It worked very quickly as 25 minutes is a much shorter time than the 45 minutes required at the salon. I rinsed it off and applied conditioner as normal. I did not have high expectations but I was so surprised at how easy this was and how well it worked. I blow dried my hair and it felt soft and silky. The color was rich and while it was slightly lighter than the rest of my hair it covered all the grays completely! I am beyond satisfied and happy with this product. It is my new go to. This is going to save me so much money and time at the salon and I will no longer have to use that awful spray in between salon visits, which rubs off and makes a mess. This color also did not stain my skin at all, which typically happens at the salons. If I could rate this higher than 5 ?? I would! This product is fabulous and really delivers what it promises...above and beyond!!

I want to start out by saying that I used to dye my hair constantly, I've been doing my own hair color and bleach for years from box dye to professional. I am 35 and I've started getting some unfortunate little grey hairs and my scalp has been dry from the weather changes, im also very tired and I just don't have the energy to dye and upkeep my hair plus I can't afford it. I'm happy with my brown hair but now that I'm having a little issue with greys starting to show up, this shampoo dye is an absolute lifesaver. I purchased the dark brown and then I decided to get another bottle for future use in black just to compare. This stuff does burn a little bit if you've ever used box dye, you're familiar with that tingly sensation. It just means its working. The extra ear covers are totally unnecessary even if you are a messy dye applier. I tend to sling dye and make a mess but this stuff was so easy to use and so not messy!! I wild it off my forehead immediately and had no staining issues. One hand I used a glove and the other I didn't and after a day any staining was gone. This shampoo is a consistency of shampoo gel, one bottle was plenty for my shoulder length hair. The only downfall was the bottle design, I love the pump but the sides of the pump were sharp. The pictures show the consistency, the shampoo upon adding it to my head and then again after 25 minutes, you can see it got darker. Rinsing was easy and didn't stain my tub or anything. The color was perfect for root coverage. If you're wanting to maintain, this is amazing. Its not so much for a new hair color it wont replace dye but its absolutely perfect for maintaining my brown and hiding my age. Overall this is going to become a staple in my hair routine 100%. Its been a few weeks and I haven't noticed any fading. 10/10 recommend!!

****** 2 month update! anyone saying it doesn't work probably didn't apply it correctly. Like any box dye you have to apply it to dry hair and let it sit for 25-30 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water. It's now February and my color is still going strong. It's a nice honey brown and I have another bottle ready to go once my roots are a bit more visible.

When placing my order, I chose the black color since my hair is black, and to my great satisfaction, this shampoo works really well. From what I understand, the shampoo consists of two components: the coloring substance itself and an oily liquid, which according to the manufacturer’s description, contains olive oil along with other natural and artificial ingredients. When squeezed out of the bottle, these two substances mix together to create the coloring shampoo. I must warn that, based on my experience, you should definitely apply the shampoo to your hair using gloves. Despite the shampoo only coloring the hair and not the scalp (as shown in my photos), the dye still gets into the cracks of the fingers and under the nails. When massaging it into the scalp, the dye remains on the fingers for a long time and is quite difficult to wash off. Another observation I would like to share is that the shampoo needs to be left on the hair for a considerable amount of time, definitely not less than five minutes, to ensure the hair absorbs the color. I usually perform this procedure in the morning, so my routine includes brushing my teeth and shaving in the shower. Therefore, I apply the shampoo to my hair first, then brush my teeth and shave, which takes about five to ten minutes. After that, I rinse the shampoo off with regular water from the shower and wash off any remaining shampoo from the bathroom walls, which comes off easily without leaving stains. As seen in one of my "before and after" photos, the coloring effect appears immediately after the first wash, not gradually like with some other coloring shampoos. In my experience, I use this shampoo approximately once every five days, and during this time between washes, the color holds up excellently despite bathing in open waters and washing my hair with regular shampoo every morning. On the positive side, the shampoo has no unpleasant smell, and the color looks very natural on the hair. It effectively hides gray hair.
